SAD NEWS: Storms, tornadoes and large hailstorms over the past few days have knocked down trees, caused power lines to fall and damaged many structures. When the rescue team reached the affected area, they discovered that the 48-year-old Y&R actor was at his home but he and his wife…
A wave of violent storms, including tornadoes and massive hailstorms, has ravaged multiple communities over the past few days — toppling trees, downing power lines, and leaving a path of destruction across several states. Amid the chaos and damage, tragedy has struck the Young & the Restless family in a way no one could have foreseen.
When emergency rescue crews finally reached one of the hardest-hit neighborhoods late last night, they discovered the unthinkable. Inside one of the storm-damaged homes was the beloved 48-year-old Y&R actor — motionless and unresponsive.
According to early reports from first responders, the actor had been home alone when the storm struck. Power had already gone out in the area, and fallen trees had blocked several roads, delaying the arrival of rescue teams. By the time help arrived, the damage to the property was extensive, and the actor was found trapped beneath debris caused by a partial collapse of the roof.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but despite the paramedics’ efforts, medical staff later confirmed that he had succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
The identity of the actor has not yet been officially released, pending notification of his family. However, sources close to the show describe him as “a deeply respected cast member, full of heart and humor, and a truly cherished part of the Y&R family.”
CBS and the Young & the Restless production team issued a joint statement in the early hours of the morning:
“We are devastated by this tragic loss. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans across the world. He brought passion and authenticity to every role he played, and his presence lit up every room.”
Fans, castmates, and colleagues have taken to social media in an outpouring of grief, sharing memories, behind-the-scenes stories, and tributes to the actor’s enduring legacy on screen and in life.
As the region continues to assess the damage from this historic storm system, the loss of this beloved actor has added a heartbreaking human cost to the devastation. A life lost far too soon — and a reminder of the fragility of life in the face of nature’s fury.
May he rest in peace.
VIDEO: Kelly Dodd Admits Husband Rick “Monitors” Her TikTok Account as He Takes Her Phone, Plus Claims She “[Knows]” Teresa Giudice is Leaving RHONJ

Kelly Dodd claims her husband, Rick Leventhal, monitors what she shares on TikTok.
Before seemingly leaking the news regarding Teresa Giudice‘s alleged departure from the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast, the 49-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum, who spent time with Teresa, 53, back in June, was seen filming herself in her swimming pool in Palm Desert, California.
“Who are you talking to?” Rick asks, as seen in a TikTok video shared by Chai Spilla.
“I’m talking to my peeps … I’m talking to my TikTok. I’m trying to get more followers because it’s all a scam,” Kelly replies.
Then, as Rick is heard in the background, she tells her listeners, “Rick doesn’t want me on here anymore,” explaining that she had “talked about his family being doctors of psychiatry.”
“It’s all a scam,” she alleges as Rick interjects.
“I need to talk to you. I need to have a conversation,” he states.
But she claims she doesn’t know how to stop her video.
“He’s listening to me right now, see? He’s monitoring me,” she explains as her livestream is heard on her husband’s phone.
“I will jump in there and upend you,” Rick argues.
He then takes her phone from her and tells her audience, “I hope you guys had a great convo. Love you all very much.”
In a second video shared by the same account, Kelly is asked if she knows anything about Teresa leaving RHONJ.
“I can’t say. I’m not allowed,” she first shares.
Then, after signaling a report regarding the returns of Melissa Gorga, 46, Margaret Josephs, 57, and Dolores Catania, 54, and saying, “Teresa had a spinoff,” Kelly claims to have insider knowledge.
“I can tell you this: I don’t think I’m gonna watch New Jersey without Teresa. I’m sad, too, about Teresa Giudice. I’m sad,” she states of Teresa’s supposed exit. “I’ve known about this for a long time. I’ve known this. And I haven’t said a word.”
Kelly’s claims come just one week after an insider told OK! Magazine that Teresa “did not film” test scenes for season 15.
“It’s really looking probable Bravo is moving on without her, and the show’s future does not include her,” the source alleged.
“Bravo has decided to pursue building the show around Margaret as the main character for the time being,” they continued. “Dolores and Melissa are both close with Margaret, so that part is aligned. And, Marge isn’t scared to be dramatic, but she’s also funny and quick-witted. Additionally, she’s always been open with her life and doesn’t hide things. She truly embodies everything a ‘Real Housewife’ has always meant to be.”
