On Tuesday, though, the team was dealt a tough update regarding one of their rookies.

Up and down their roster, the Steelers are full of talent, which led to them stashing several players on their practice squad ahead of the start of the new season. One of those players was rookie safety Sebastian Castro, but he is no longer with the team after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made an interesting move ahead of Week 5.

Castro didn’t hear his name called during the 2025 NFL Draft, but he ended up latching on with the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent.
