Gabby Windey Steals the Show With Lacey Black Look at the 2025 VMAs
The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and The Traitors star Gabby Windey might not have been nominated for any awards at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards — which took place tonight (September 7) at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York — but if “Best Dressed” was a category, she would’ve easily taken the cake.
Windey — who served as a red carpet correspondent for MTV tonight — wore a lacey black look that left little to the imagination. Needless to say, her attire left fans in awe, causing a great deal of chatter via Reddit.

On the VMAs red carpet, the 34-year-old turned heads in a shiny yet see-through gown. Comprised of black lace, the dress features a plunging neckline — as well as cutouts on either side of her torso, leaving her waist exposed — creating an early 2000s-inspired ensemble that (almost) everyone was in love with.
To contribute to her overall “cool girl” look, Windey decided against any accessories — besides a strappy black thong — ultimately keeping her neck, wrists and fingers bare.
As for the glam, the former Bachelorette decided on a smokey, sultry makeup look — with skinny eyebrows, of course — as well as a voluminous blowout that made her look like a true movie star.
While some deemed her ensemble rather risqué — like @Sea_Strawberry_5939, who wrote “I love her sooo much but I hate the way she dresses sometimes” via Reddit — others were obsessed with the California native’s outfit.
“This dress is so Gabby, and she’s rocking it,” one wrote, while another added, “She looks absolutely amazing. I love Gabby.” A third gushed, “Smoking hot and absolutely hilarious? Love that for her!”
To top things off, Windey herself shared a series of sexy solo shots from the VMAs to her Instagram profile — captioning the 11-photo carousel, “Hosted the red carpet for @vmas” — amassing more than 30k likes in just over an hour. How impressive is that?
