Falcons sign 14 players to practice squad
Following Tuesday’s cuts to set the team’s initial 53-man roster, the Atlanta Falcons signed 13 players and an international player to their practice squad on Wednesday.
The team was able to begin adding to their practice squad at noon on Wednesday. All but the international signee was a part of Atlanta’s 90-man training camp roster at some point.
Atlanta signed kicker Lenny Krieg as their international player. This means he won’t count toward the limit for the practice squad, giving the team three open spots. The Falcons can elevate two players from the practice squad to the active roster on gamedays. A player is allowed three elevations per season.
Like Tuesday’s initial 53-man roster, the practice squad will fluctuate throughout the season.
