15 Years Later, The Best Zombie Series of All Time Is a Hit on a Surprising Streaming Platform

The Walking Dead is back on top. After being the most-watched series on television during its original run on AMC, the post-apocalyptic zombie drama series has found its way back into the homes of millions 15 years later.

According to FlixPatrol, despite being currently available to stream on Netflix, Pluto TV, and AMC+, The Walking Dead has been in the No. 1 spot on iTunes' Top 10 chart for the past three days, beating out currently airing shows like

NCIS (No. 4), FBI (No. 6), and Ghosts (No. 9), as well as fan favorites like What's New, Scooby-Doo? (No. 2), The Twilight Zone (No. 3), and Dexter (No. 5). Developed by Frank Darabont from the eponymous comic book series by Robert Kirkman,

The Walking Dead focuses on survivors of a zombie apocalypse as they try to stay alive under near-constant threat of attacks from zombies, known in-universe as "walkers," and rival groups and communities.

However, both Dead City and Daryl Dixon could be nearing their respective ends. Daryl Dixon has already been renewed for its fourth and final season, which will consist of eight episodes and is already in production.

Dead City began filming its third season last month in Boston. The upcoming season will feature several new cast members, including Westworld's Jimmy Simpson and Task's Raúl Castillo. AMC has not yet announced when

Dead City will end, although if it follows a similar pattern to Daryl Dixon, it will only have one more season left after the third.

Brock Boeser shootout goal pushes Canucks past Blackhawks

Brock Boeser scored the shootout winning goal to give the visiting Vancouver Canucks a 3-2 comeback victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday.

Jake DeBrusk and Max Sasson scored in regulation time for Vancouver, which has won the first two outings of a five-game road trip and erased 2-0 deficits in both of them.

Goaltender Kevin Lankinen made 31 saves through overtime in a strong outing. He also stopped all four Chicago skaters in the shootout.

Ryan Donato and Tyler Bertuzzi scored early for the Blackhawks, who saw their modest two-game winning streak snapped.

Bertuzzi doubled the lead by driving to the net and pouncing on a rebound with 46 seconds remaining in the frame.

The Canucks clawed back with a two-goal second period, despite managing only four shots on goal during it. DeBrusk, on his 29th birthday, put them on the board at 6:49 of the period by whacking home a loose puck from the edge of the crease for the power-play goal.

Sasson tied the clash with his second goal in as many nights, redirecting the puck into an open net thanks to a slick pass from Filip Hronek at the 13:42 mark.
